| • 8 ounces softened cream cheese |
| • 18 ounces Oreo cookies, crushed |
| • 12 ounces (2 cups) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate) |
| • 1 Tbs shortening |
| 1: Crush the Oreos. |
| 1: Mix cream cheese with electric mixer until fluffy. | |
| 2: Add the crushed Oreos and beat on high until well mixed. | |
| 3: Chill for at least 2 hours in the freezer. | |
| 4: Roll cookie mix into one-inch balls. | |
| 5: Melt the chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave or in a double boiler. | |
| 6: Dip the balls completely into the melted chocolate using tongs or a toothpick. | |
| 7: Cool on wax paper. Store in the refrigerator. |
Don't use double-stuffed Oreos.
Don't skip the shortening.
