Oreo Balls

Ingredients:

• 8 ounces softened cream cheese
• 18 ounces Oreo cookies, crushed
• 12 ounces (2 cups) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
• 1 Tbs shortening

Prep Steps:

1: Crush the Oreos.

Steps:

1: Mix cream cheese with electric mixer until fluffy.   
2: Add the crushed Oreos and beat on high until well mixed.   
3: Chill for at least 2 hours in the freezer.   
4: Roll cookie mix into one-inch balls.   
5: Melt the chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave or in a double boiler.   
6: Dip the balls completely into the melted chocolate using tongs or a toothpick.   
7: Cool on wax paper. Store in the refrigerator.   

Comments:

Don't use double-stuffed Oreos.

Don't skip the shortening.
