Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

• 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted and cooled
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs, slightly beaten
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

1: Preheat oven to 375°F.   
2: Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.   
3: Beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar by hand in a large bowl until combined.   
4: Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until well blended.   
5: Add flour mixture. Mix until just combined.   
6: Stir in chocolate chips.   
7: Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.   
8: Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are crisp but centers are still soft.   
9: Let stand 2 minutes on cookie sheet before removing to a wire rack.
