| 1: Pop the popcorn into a large brown grocery bag. |

| 2: Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. |

| 3: Mix in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. |

| 4: Microwave until it boils (about 1½ minutes), and then 2 more minutes. |

| 5: Thoroughly stir in the baking soda. |

| 6: Pour caramel over the popped corn. Roll top of bag down and shake the heck out of it. |

| 7: Microwave on high for 1½ minutes, and then shake the heck out of it. |

| 8: Microwave on high for 1½ minutes again, and then shake the heck out of it. |
