chili
Ingredients
- 1 bag veggie crumbles
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 Tbs Better than Bouillion
- 2-3 cups water
- 4 cups chopped fresh tomatoes, or 2 boxes chopped tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 Tbs chili powder
- 2 Tbs vinegar
- ¼ tsp cumin
- 1 can chili beans with sauce
- 2 (minimum) cans beans undrained
- Light Kidney Beans
- Dark Kidney Beans
- Red Beans
- Black Beans
- 8 or so splashes green Tabasco
- ½ bell pepper, diced
- 1 Tbs brown sugar
- 4 Tbs olive oil
- Leftover creamed corn from the Mexican cornbread recipe (optional)
Preparation
- Sautee the onions in the olive oil, then add the peppers and then the garlic.
- Add crumbles. heat through.
- Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for an hour.
