Fantasy Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- ¾ cup margarine (1½ sticks)
- 5 ounces evaporated milk
- 12 ounces (two cups) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
- Line a 9x13 pan with foil, and then butter the foil.
- Combine sugar, margarine, and milk in a heavy 2- to 3-quart saucepan.
- Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Continue boiling 4-5 minutes overmedium heator until candy thermometer reaches 234 F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until melted.
- Add marshmallow creme and stir until melted.
- Add nuts and vanilla. Mix until well blended.
- Pour into prepared pan and cool at room temperature.
