Fantasy Fudge

Preparation

  1. Line a 9x13 pan with foil, and then butter the foil.
  2. Combine sugar, margarine, and milk in a heavy 2- to 3-quart saucepan.
  3. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Continue boiling 4-5 minutes overmedium heator until candy thermometer reaches 234 F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until melted.
  6. Add marshmallow creme and stir until melted.
  7. Add nuts and vanilla. Mix until well blended.
  8. Pour into prepared pan and cool at room temperature.
