Chocolate Chip Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box Butter Golden cake mix (Duncan Hines)
- 1 cup Crisco Oil
- 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 Tbs vanilla
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 cup (6 oz) chocolate chips
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup water
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a Bundt baking pan.
- Mix ingredients well, and turn into prepared pan.
- Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Put on a rack to cool 10-15 minutes before turning out. Do not cool completely in the Bundt pan.
Modifications
The above is the recipe as it was originally provided.
We typically use ¾ cups oil and ½ cup of water instead. Also, you can almost double the amount of chocolate chips.
