Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) margarine, melted and cooled
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Beat margarine, sugar and brown sugar by hand in a large bowl until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until well blended.
- Add flour mixture. Mix untiljust combined.
- Stir in chocolage chips.
- Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespooons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are crisp but centers are still soft.
- Let stand 2 minutes on cookie sheet beforeremoving to a wire rack.
