Caramel Corn

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Pop the popcorn into a large brown grocery bag.
  2. Melt the butter in a large microwave safe bowl.
  3. Mix in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
  4. Microwave until it boils (about 1½ minutes), and then 2 more minutes.
  5. Thoroughly stir in the baking soda.
  6. Pour caramel over the popped corn. Roll top of bag down and shake the heck out of it.
  7. Microwave on high for 1½ minutes, and then shake the heck out of it.
  8. Microwave on high for 1½ minutes again, and then shake the heck out of it.
